CHAPS is holding a community meeting regarding the library and efforts to preserve it at 7PM Thursday in the Sorg Opera House. Additionally CHAPS is holding their annual luncheon meeting at noon, October 20 at the Manchester Inn, with guest speaker Mary Ellen Armentrout. Armentrout is an expert on Carnegie libraries and wrote a book, "Carnegie Libraries of Ohio". The cost for the lunch and the speaker is $20 per person, and you can register at www.butlerchaps.org.
