Every year a food drive is held with help from area letter carriers and Shared Harvest Foodbank, at a time when donations to food banks are lowest. May 12th marked this year's drive, and of all the cities and townships in Butler County, Middletown collected the most -- 19,760 pounds of food. Thanks everyone on showing that ours is a city of caring and generosity.
Collection totals from throughout the county include: - 16,490 pounds of food at the Rossville post office in Hamilton - 12,240 pounds from Hamilton - 11,360 pounds from Fairfield - 3,620 pounds from Monroe - 3,423 pounds from Oxford - 2,017 pounds from Trenton
